Introduction

16th January 2022

This essay is aimed at those people who are interested in building an ideal world – and it doesn’t matter which faith background you come from or even if you are an atheist. The text is scientific in nature and it is self-explanatory. The only assumptions that Essays A and C make are:

  1. That God exists

  2. That God created the universe, (which follows from 1)

  3. That something went wrong during the creation process of humans

However, what is important when you read this essay is that you have an open mind. If you don’t have an open mind this will stop you from learning something new.

This essay contains new ideas. But because it makes just 3 fundamental assumptions and then develops logically – it can be seen as a new form of science which can further develop into a new form of engineering. I do not quote a holy book which means that anyone from any faith background is not explicitly ruled out and is therefore free to study and consider these new ideas.

However, Essay B does quote Jesus, particularly in it’s discussion of the Holy Spirit and this is not therefore free of assumptions. Essay B is included for the benefit of those people who have the gift of spiritual openness. So, you might want to skip Essay B and go on to read Essay C which just makes the 3 assumptions given above.

PART A –

THE FUNDAMENTALS

The following is a summation of Sun Myung Moon’s book The Principle – which is a work of unrecognised, sheer genius. Then there is an extrapolation Sun’s work with my own thoughts:-

(In this essay, for reasons of brevity, I refer to man and woman, as man. Please take Man to mean Man and Woman.)

God’s Two Dualities:-

 Duality Number 1:-

We believe God created man and the Earth. Throughout these two there is a division of masculine and feminine essence ie

Man and woman

Male and female animals

Male and female flowering plants

Positive and negative molecules

Positive and negative particles eg protons and electrons

Because God created these essences we can conclude that God itself is a masculine and feminine essence bound together by the power of Give and Take Action or true love ie God is not a single entity but two aspects, one perfect and complete masculinity and one perfect and complete femininity bound together by true love.

The masculine aspect Gives to the female aspect that Receives. The masculine is bigger and stronger and we call it the Subject whereas the feminine is the Object.

The feminine is Passive and it stimulates (with beauty) the masculine to give which is Active.

This Duality (two aspects) is recognised in Chinese culture as Yin and Yang and this is correct.

Duality Number 2:-

There is a second duality, Internal Character and External Form.

Everything in creation has an internal character (which is invisible) and an external form (which reflects the internal character) and is the visible aspect ie

Man        –      Mind and body

Animals   –             Animal mind and body

Plants     –             Plant mind and body

Particles –             Energy and particle

Plants don’t have a mind like a person, but they still have to regulate their organic function which can resemble the human mind in some respects.

Energy has an internal character such that it causes it to form a particle.

Internal character and external form relate as Subject to Object like the first duality. They also relate as Cause and Effect and the Subject gives control over the Object. In man, the Mind has a Purpose for the Whole and the Body has a Purpose for the Individual.

God stands as the internal character to the creation, the creation stands as a symbolic image of God and stands as his external form. Sometimes people refer to nature as Mother Earth.

Because God stands as the Internal Character and subject we refer to him as Masculine when we pray to him.

Summary

There are two Dualities in the creation and they are both expressed as a relationship of Subject and Object bound by Give and Take Action between them.

 The following ideas are

my own work:-

The Two Ways to Relate to God:-

Because God is a duality of Masculinity and Femininity we shouldn’t be surprised to realise that there are two possible ways to relate to God.

There is ‘The Way of Beauty’ and ‘The Way of Love’. Let’s take the first of these:-

The Way of Beauty:-

God created man in his image and because God is good man was created as something which is beautiful. God could not help but be stimulated by man’s beauty to love him. But man Fell ie something went wrong during the process of creation of man. So, after the Fall man became ugly because of Original Sin.

So, for fallen man to come before God and become beautiful, he first has to recognise his sin, repent and ask for forgiveness. This is the fundamental teaching of Christianity and it is valid.

In this relationship God is subject and man is object. God Gives love to man.

The Way of Love:-

Man was created with the potential to give love to God ie man is the subject and God is the object and man Gives to God

If a man makes a 100% unconditional effort at giving an offering to God, God can receive this offering as a pure offering. So man gives love to God, God receives this love and then God can return love to that man.

So, if for example, a man loves the world and does an action for world peace, God can accept that man and return love to him.

More detail on the Way of Beauty:-

To develop more clearly this concept, let us look at the roles of Mind and Body in man.

The mind is the invisible internal character and it has a Purpose for the Whole. The body is the visible external form and it has a Purpose for the Individual.

When the Mind dominates the Body, the purpose for whole dominates the purpose for the individual and so the overall purpose is unselfish.

But when the Body dominates the Mind, the purpose for individual dominates the purpose for whole and the overall purpose is selfish. This is Sin. It is selfish.*

*Examples of the kind of sin explained by the above definition include, gluttony, lust, alcoholism and drug abuse. All of these are instances where the body dominates the mind.

Another type of application of this theory is explaining phenomena like Nazism. The Nazi’s placed an emphasis on beauty, think about Hitler and the Nuremberg Rallies for example, they were very clean and smart. When beauty becomes subject over love in examples like this the unity is selfish ie the outward form looks beautiful and principled but internally the character is selfish. This happens often, including within religious people, and I like to call it Formism.

So, there you have it. The beginnings of a new theory of life. The keys to the success of this theory is that it only makes 3 simple assumptions and it is entirely logical. Religion in this modern age is not respected because it does make massive assumptions and accordingly it’s logic is flawed. Take the 3 great faiths for example; Judaism, Christianity and Islam. They each have a Holy Book which they each assume to be true and accordingly they assume that the other’s Holy Book is based on an invalid assumption of divinity – which in turn leads to conflict. Modern man cannot cognise a truth that is based on assumptions and which accordingly has a flawed logic. What this essay tries to do is not make assumptions and accordingly it is like a new science and a new form of engineering.

A more current example of this phenomena is leader of Russia – Vladimir Putin. He is strong and beautiful but he is not high-minded and loving. Putin specialises in a deeply-rooted beauty. But this is unbalanced and distorted because to grow to perfection we need both beauty and love. This phenomena is discussed in more detail in the next 2 essays.
